I know how long I searched to find someone who looked like me! So share them as you see fit. I thought for a very long time about posting them. But I know how much I appreciated those who had the courage to post their pictures.

Updated pix!! I'm one year post op from my truncoplasty! I had hernia repair and my upper abdomen "tweaked" in December 2001 so the 5 month pictures is also a one month postop picture as well. I had gained about 10 lbs between the one and five week picture. I'm really amazed at how my scars have faded and still pleased as can be with the results :o)

Wow what an improvement! My sides have smoothed out at last. Heck, I can actually feel and see my rib cage now!! (and fall asleep with my hand on my hip bone) Do you have a clue how happy I am with this? (and didya notice my cute new belly button?)

Side view: Seems to me my backside has gone through some "changes!" Clothes fit so much better. What a change from where I was to where I am now :o) Scars fade.....but skin is forever!

And finally me walking away. For sure a difference in my backside and waist. (OMG!! I finally have a waist!) Gravity has set in as well. Don't know if I'll ever get rid of my saddle bags and don't know what the deal is with the extra acreage on my butt. Right now I'm in the market for a new tattoo!! Hmmm, or a belly button ring....... Or maybe both :)

Before surgery I could just grab handfuls of skin. This was one of the pictures we sent to the insurance company. Do you think it helped? I think it gets the point across!	My incision isn't quite in the panty line and I'm kind of glad about that. Can't even imagine trying to wear underwear! It goes about the same distance in the back as well so sitting is still somewhat of an issue at this time.

And finally my hospital pictures. A cross between the Mummy and Bride of Frankenstein! For two days I couldn't move my arms at all. Talk about frustrating! Thank goodness for good pain killers though :o) The staff at the hospital was wonderful, feeding me, holding the phone, giving me sips of water every time someone came by, scratching my itches...

I've gone back in my records and pulled together my measurements.
